Setting up your various email accounts with the Mail application on your iPad is as easy as with any other Mac products running on OSX Snow Leopard, Mail version 4.3 and higher.

Setting Up Email Accounts on the iPad

To set up your accounts on the iPad: Go to Settings (see Mail App Image), then to Mail,Calendar,Contacts. Tap on: Add Account (see Image 1):

Enter your name, email address and password. The account is automatically set up. Emails from Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, etc will automatically feed into your inbox at the specified intervals you choose from the "Fetch New Data" option. No more annoying POP, SMTP stuff to remember.
